1. Those who apply for a Travel Visa in a PRC Special Zone must submit the valid common visa or travel certificate, answer related questions, and fill out the application card for Special Zones.

2. Those who apply for a Group Visa in the PRC must provide visa consignment paper and a list of the tour group as well as a PC floppy disk recording basic information of the group members.

3. Those who apply for a PRC Visa must provide valid common visa or travel certificate, answer questions, complete an Application Card for Foreigners, submit a 2-inch photo, and provide related testifying documentation.
The related testifying paper refers to

1. People applying for a D visa must have a residential identification paper. The proposes or their relatives in China should apply to the local migration administration of the police office.

2. People applying for a Z visa must have the employment paper of their Chinese employers or the letters of authorized units.

3. People applying for an X visa must have the testifying paper of the receiving units or the department in charge.

4. People applying for an F visa must have the letters of the authorized units.

5. People applying for an L visa and traveling to China must have the reception paper of the Chinese travel agencies, and, if necessary, they should provide the flight, bus, or ship tickets for the departure to other countries and regions.

6. People applying for G visa must have the valid visa to the destination countries and regions. People applying for the visa exempt of the destination countries and regions must have the flight tickets.

7. People applying for a C visa should provide the related paper in accordance with the agreement.

8. People applying for J-1 and J-2 visas must have the paper of the department in charge.
Foreigners who come to live in China for over 1 year should also submit the notarized health certificate of the health department or the certificate provided by the appointed health department in their countries. The health certificate will expire after 6 months.
