100 pieces of ink stone works from Mr. Cheng Wen, master of Guangdong Duan Ink Stone, are on show at Guangdong Arts and Crafts Exhibition. Duan ink stone is one of the national intangible cultural heritages of China. The master piece "Jiu Long Yu Tian Yan (nine dragons driving the ink stone)", the most precious of this exhibition is unveiled to the public.
The 100 ink stones were made by Cheng and focus on south China's villages and farms. The 150-kg "Jiu Long Yu Tian Yan" lays out nine vivid dragons playing with a pearl (the pearl is the natural stone eye of the ink stone).
